Armada - How to add ships?

Hi everyone,

The instructions included with the zip files for the Armada ships on the Resources page are kind of vague , can anyone please give me a detailed explanation to add new ships to the game?

If i remember this correctly, you'll have to extract the data.tre and then overwrite the ship files.

That's what I did , but the game returned an error just before the combat loads.
