A thought on the Rachel Flint debate

Sparks survived the war -- she's one of the main characters in the Wing Commander novels. She was transferred to the TCS Tarawa after Special Operations 2.

she was a quite intresting personage, to bad we dont see much to her in the game, much better mechanic than rachel i bet.... hehe

anyway, i played so or so2 and i dont come further, but whats the deal about major edmond?

If I had been in Blair's situation, just recently losing the love of my life, and with the war and everything, I'd walk away and retire alone.

I'm not really sure what that means - neither are particularly deep *characters*. (Rachel getting over her dead ex, versus Flint loving her dad.)

You dont see much backgrund story of rachel, but flint talks about her brother, father and locanda.

So what's this about flying drunk? I think I played through that game 7 or 8 times, and I don't remember flying drunk. Does it make some difference? Does Blair sound pissed when he comms others? Do your controls go wobbly? :eek: :D

I tried picking them both at different times, though I admit the first time through I chose neither one, mourning for Angel.

As to the Bestiality thing, Moses' commandments also included killing your friends and family for offenses like eating pork or letting a cow out of its pen, so I'm not sure how any of that applies to the forums here.... :confused:

After the behemoth destruction when Paladin informs Blair that he was aware of angels death, even when they found the concordia, go to the bar. You have the choice to keep on drinking. Afterwards i think its a scramble. Anyway during the mission your controls keep reversing every so many seconds.

It wasn't that simple. The cow thing had to do with maliciousness. Alternate sexual preferences are also condemned in the new testament. Sufficient to say that most forum users find the idea of interspecies copulation repulsive.

I suppose worshiping an image is a form of Idolatry, something condemned in the Mosaic law. (Exodus 20: 4, 5) And Jesus said that if you are married and are lusting after another woman (not just passing immoral thoughts) you might as well have already slept with her. The desire is in your heart to do so. (Matthew 5: 28) In fact, covetousness (wanting something or someone that belongs to someone else) is said in the scriptures to be the same thing as Idolatry. Essentially, immoral thoughts and sexuality, overshadow and take the place of God. (Colossians 3:5) :eek:

I guess there's nothing specificaly there unless it's some form of copyright infringement (or porn)! :D

hold the phone. Rachel never said anything that would make me fancy her and the best thing I could muster for Flint was feeling sorry for her which, believe me, is nothing to base a relationship on, far too boring. When Flint had stopped whinging about everyone dieing then what would they talk about??

Anyway, whats all this about flying the mission drunk, now that sounds like fun., do tell.

hehe, i dont say it isent true, but both subject is normaly importan to people, but afteral this is a game forum! i dont want to hear cht-chat about relgion, or woman... not so very much though :D l

Trust me that this is much better to just discover on your own...

After Blair learns of Angels death, you will get a choice at the bar to keep on drinking or not (i think it's a conversation with either Flint or Rachel though I don't remeber which. You can choose to either accept what she says or ignore her. )
If I remember correctly, there is a scramble then, and you have to fly while your controls keep reversing.

it is with rachel, she cant let you alone and have to nag around, just making everything worse, so you can choose to continue the torture of her naging or stop it with a cold drink :p
