    Famous Wc fans

Of course, actors don't have to be fans of the movies/games they're staring in (only of the the money they get for playing their characters ). But as far as Freddie Prinze jr. is concerned I read/heard somewhere that he wanted to be in the movie before he even read the script because he has...

    WC2/SO1/SO2 under a dos box

Well, I recently got WC1 to work in the Windows DOS box and tried Mo'Slo and Turbo. I chose Turbo. The game is a little less jerky with it. But the movements of the fighters are still annoyingly jumpy! ------------------ No one will hear your cry of death in the void of space

    Bossman

I'm currently replaying WC1, too, (even managed to get it running in WIN95's DOS environment! ) and IMO the cats' AI is more realistic than in most of the other games. Damn, that's probably why this accursed Bhurak Starkiller always escapes while I'm busy defending this Drayman...

    Famous Wc fans

Freddie Prinze jr. (obviously since that's the reason he took part in the movie), Smudo from Die Fantastischen Vier (anybody ever listened to some of their songs? He even had a very small part in WCP.) ------------------ No one will hear your cry of death in the void of space

Go and take a look at...

I also posted this message in the Editing section of the board: As you may (or may not) know the Sci-Fi Art people took over some of the forums of the SBA after their site went offline. They even established a WC forum when they realized that there are quite a few WC fans over there, too. Now...

    Prophecy Actors in other Projects

A dark shadow that grows larger and larger starts covering the sun until it sets down smoothly in a tree nearby You can always check out the Internet Movie Database for a complete list of any WC actor's work on TV shows/movies. ------------------ No one will hear your cry of death in the void...

Command Decision, kind of an opinion poll

Ok, here we go: 1. T-Bolts -> transports: Just to be on the safe side . 2. Longbows -> cruiser: They could hold on their own without escort. 3. Arrows, Hellcats -> fighters: The Arrows should be able to complete their objective in time to save the Hellcats' butt . 4. Excals...

    Chronological order of books

Hehe, I remember that! Usually I download the newest threads early in the morning (before 0800) because internet access is cheaper at that time. Most of the time TC and you were still on and I was able to get some comments in. ------------------ No one will hear your cry of death in the...

Maybe this should be in General......

Okay, here is the part where she talks about her WC experiences: Q: How was your experience getting the gig for WING COMMANDER w/Chris Roberts? A: Nicole and Joy - the same two casting agents who brought me in to audition for "The Independent" - brought me in to read for "Wing Commander -...

What does a jump drive actually do?

Uups, didn't notice your message there when I posted, Quarto! Well, it's the prerogative (sp?) of the wing leader to attack first, isn't it? He didn't pose a real threat anyway. You'll get the next one. gets some beating from behind Ok, ok, I'm coming. 'til next time! NH out...

What does a jump drive actually do?

OK, let's stop here. I have to leave now anyway. My presence is needed somewhere else. hears his girlfriend calling from the background in a somewhat annoyed tone of voice Oh-oh. See ya! ------------------ No one will hear your cry of death in the void of space

What does a jump drive actually do?

Ha, that didn't surprise me at all! Now let's deal with him properly! with a nicely executed manoeuvre NH gets behind the imposter, thinks about locking a missile on his foe but decides against it You're not worth the credits! TAKE THIS! NH starts raking the imposter's ship with his guns. In...

Maybe this should be in General......

trying to link this topic back to WC Hey, did someone read the interview with GLA on Ain't it cool in which she mentioned the troubles she had before filming the kissing scene with Mark Hammill? I once watched a documentary about the porn business. The impression I got from that was that the...

What does a jump drive actually do?

Well, Quarto, there is only one way to find out for sure if you're right. Ok, here goes: Hey, Mad Hatter, you're sa'guk and your ancestors are nothing but a bunch of low-born utak! Now let's wait for his reaction. (And I need some cover if he tries to get after me!) ------------------ No...

Maybe this should be in General......

Well, actually I'm no expert on that subject. I usually don't watch porns. Only late at night, when I'm busy chatting on the net and there is nothing else on TV I'm zapping through and occasionally happen to see some movies of that kind. Mostly I don't pay any attention to them. Only once I...
