Origin still does the Ultima Online stuff. Well they did, then they cancelled the one project. You could always check on the stock websites to see if a company is still being traded. That is pretty much the final say if a large company has life left in it or not.

I liked the look of the ships in WC4 (especially the banshee). Space ships don't need to be aerodynamic because there is very little friction in space. The Kilrathi had some cool ships too.
