The Cerberus just looked like a bucket of bolts that could house a few fighters. The Midway did have a lot of laser and missile turrets as well so it could pack a punch, it would just die against a large fleet.

Well the question it seems has not been properly answered by anyone. Blair looks pretty dead but that might be part of handing the Wing Commander series over to Casey because we all know Blair is getting too old to be a pilot. I hope he is alive though because I enjoyed flying as him in WC4...
