if you're talking about the mining drone from the WCP intro, it was modelled for UE so its in there ready to be extracted.

I think it was modeled for UE so you can extract it from there. you can probably use the mesh, just supply your own textures like for Standoff ships.

yup, the texture is the paint for the ship, without a texture the model is grey, like you see in some WIP pictures around here. EDIT: heres a pic of my station I made without texture. textures really improve the model, they can add a whole lotta detail with little effort

I have no experience with Vista but there should be a c:\windows\system folder, put the mssdtfmt.dll file there, then go to start, run, type in regsvr32 mssdtfmt.dll, press run and it should say something like 'DllRegisterServer in msstdfmt.dll succeeded.'

go to google, search for mssdtfmt.dll, download it to your windows\system folder, go to run, type in regsvr32 mssdtfmt.dll click ok and try running standoff again. I had the same error when I tried to edit the options but doin that worked.

every texture I've made for my wc2 starbase model I made in MS Paint, but I wouldnt recommend it, it is extremely frustrating to do it that way. Photoshop would be a good program to use, I havent used it yet but am planing on getting a copy ASAP.

I used to get that error as well, changing to 16 bit colour worked for me.

I think the Intrepid was on loan for training as a good will measure between the two nations. I dont think it was illegal for the BW to have a carrier, they were a soveriegn nation at the end of WC4. The WCP manual has more info, cant find my copy atm.
