Your favourite Privateer - II ship?

I was quite happy with the Frej II and the Heretic, but the ship I liked to look at most was the CIS Transport. Symmetrical beauty.

TCG... but this time with other backgrounds...

Whoa, I'm back. Well, kind of - work is kicking me across Europe again, and this is the first breathing time I get. Hudson/Deacan: Nice work. I really like how this is shaping up; it gets more depth each time you reveal a little more about the structure of the game. ...BUT (you heard it...

Try searching the forum - or don't, because you could just overcome that anti-cheat-urge and look here.

Privateer 2 Movie II - The Second Cut

I really don't like to stir up old dust, but has come anything of this project? Or has it been canceled for some reason? There was mention of moving it to CIC Yellow in another thread, but this also the last I heard.

WiCdr 4-07 Sil Ba part III ...

Good to see you're still at it, Rie. It is sometimes hard to follow your story, since your way of telling it it quite different from the usual fan fiction; and also because you have some very unothodox ideas. But it also leaves room for questions, it doesn't explain everything at once, and...

    Kill score transfer SM2- WC2???

There's a WC2 savegame editor (but I can't recall exactly how it works) - that wouldn't be actually transferring your SM2 scores, but might be a way to manually set it.

Ah, missed that one-liner. Thanks for the heads-up.

Wing Commander Fans Pound Pavement At DC2006 (September 2, 2006)

I'm looking forward to seeing Hobbes again - I thinks it makes the group more recognizable for the people who only have a hazy notion about Wing Commander (Yeah, the game with the cats!) - well maybe except for Larry Niven fans. What the heck is Witchblade? No, don't tell me. If you talk about...

Which non PC version is the best ?

For me, the most "interesting" version is the 3DO, as the visuals are in a very different style from the rest - but that doesn't make it necessarily better. For other versions, it's very much a matter of taste and habit, depending on your definition of "better". Do you like a certain...

    Noooo!!!!!!

I read it yesterday too, and it was really a shock. Someone so positive, so idealistic, and so obviously passionate and happy with his work simply snuffed out by a freak accident - what kind of story is that? What will happen to his wife and the kids now, who will take over the zoo, and who will...

Wing Commander Fans Pound Pavement At DC2006 (September 2, 2006)

Seems like the guys behind you had a lot more fun... - or was that a try at military ruggedness? Somehow I miss LOAF's Hobbes impersonation.

    Privateer - das Erwachen

Errr, well, what should I say? A quick cross-check reveals that there is no known Aaron Ulysses Hawke on the internet, and no Ulysses Hawke either. But Aaron Hawke seems to be an actor for adult homosexual-oriented movies. I don't know if you'd like all the fan mail you could get from that...

TCG... but this time with other backgrounds...

I've taken the liberty to translate Hudson's hints about the game. I can't say that I understand everything, and there are a lot of questions that pop up in my mind, but since I'm not really into card games, I'd leave the questions to others. Well, here are Hudson's secrets:

    Japan To Create New Universe

The "causing no harm" part reminds me of the story of the two semi-spheres of plutonium in the White Sands experiment being transported to the site in a car's back seat, unprotected. Yeah, it's absolutely harmless.

    New definition of planet

I really don't understand the use of this new categorization. Yes, the old ones were faulty, and either de-classified Pluto or classified everything spherical including Earth's moon - but the new one ist not much better, mere window-dressing. For the former transjovian bodies we now have the...

This game is still alive but EA wants to kill it

EA waits for the right moment to reactivate the label. It's like Volkswagen - they didn't build a Beetle for almost 20 years, then they launched the "New Beetle" - and although it was totally different from its namesake, the younger generations liked it.
