Very rarely does hollywood get it right, even with LOTR, it was changed for whatever reasons. It's one thing to change minor details in a 50 year old novel, quite another to completey destroy a 3000 year old epic, part of which is considered one of the first great pieces of literature ever...

As I recall, as Wilson is stabbed, he arms a grenade, so Blair jumps out of the way as it blows up, but Wilson, and the knife, are destroyed. I could be wrong; I haven't read the book since my freshman year of high school.

I don't really play a lot of games. But if I did, and I made a list, the WC games would be in there, so would the first three Super Mario Bros. games, and the first three Mortal Kombat games.

Norma Jean? Meh, plenty of better hardcore bands out there. What bugged me about the knife fight was that the blade didn't seem that long or sturdy. Seemed like it would just pop off the medallion. And surely it didn't seem strong enough to penetrate the combat armor they were wearing. Oh, well.

Forstchen. Nice guy (even offered to set me up with his agent once my novel is finished!), and great author. Rally Cry is my favorite. It's probably the simplest of the Lost Regiment books, but that's part of its charm. Haven't read Gettysburg yet (waiting for paperback), but 1945 was great, too...

Has to be WCIV. Sure, the story/FMV overshadowed the gameplay and I only have the super-butchered Playstation version, but it was just so much fun. WC3 might even be better, but, yeah, I'll have to go with IV. WC1 is great, too, but very frustrating--how come there are so many escort...

Wow, I'm impressed, Corsair. It's very "clean" looking animation, which I like. I won't tell you what to do, but I'll just say I can't wait to see it. Oh, and if you need voice-overs, and have a youngish character in need of a nasal Midwestern voice like mine, I'm your man! :p

Just for the record, the Nuke'ems are now Maces. And Casey didn't really let the FoF detonate at his will, I just wrote it a little strangely, I suppose.
