    You NEED to have a hull mesh for a capship, but i believe you could have a hull type mesh hidden inside the bridge mesh. Just would be a bit strange to fire at what would be the hull and do damage to the bridge, or destroy an engine, and see damage on the half of the ship, or even the entire...

    A single component capship is a either a dead capship, a corvette (wich limits the turrets number, make the turrets invulnerable, and limit the number of "capships" to six per mission) or like those cutscene capships, wich are destructable only by mission code.

    Michael music is very good, remmember that you just listen to bits of it. The music is similar to WC1 and WC2 style, thats why it fits so great. Along with the WC1 era ships, it makes a nice atmosphere. I do like WC3/4 music, but at sometimes it got quite repetitive. AS far as i saw UE...

    Hmm...SO does have fmv (pilot comms), and thanks to HCl divX patch (wich is already used in UE), you can import new fmv into it.

    They arent obsolete, its just the game style that changed. The Vesuvius class carrier is the same as in WC4, just now you have to destroy the engines and bridge to take it out, but its still a capship. The barracuda and kilrathi corvette are just that...corvettes.

    Isnt the poseidon a torpedoe? The barracuda has 4 of it. It may be uncapable of lasting enough alone to get a lock, but a few in the middle of a larger attack force, has :p

    Just because a game is the same genre of another (space sims, first person shooters, action-adventure, sports...), doesnt mean they are rip-offs. If so, the majority of the games would be one. WC, SW, freespace, tachyon, freelancer...all are space sims with lasers, missiles, wingmans...

    Havent you added hangar to your capships Eder?? At least the ones i saw, i remmember they had...didnt they? A hangar for the bengal would be a good idea, but since the new landing/takeoff sequences have already been scripted (i think), there is no need. Would mean change the code...again :p
