I feel it would behoove the entire Wing Commander community as a whole to say the following: If you haven't played the games yet, don't spoil the story for yourself. Get the games and play them.

Um... I sing. Been singing since I was 12. Which means I've been singing for 10 years. Whoohoo. I was learning guitar at one point, and I can kind of plunk my way through a piano, but I entered a depression in my life and I stopped practicing. I'd like to pick them up again though.

Most of my scary moments come because I'm not a defensive flyer. In WC1 and 2, I often end up sheering off all my guns, leaving me with nothing but missiles. Sometimes, all I've got left is a Chaff Pod. In a bomber, it's tough as hell to get home again since you have no afterburners...

I have a Logitech Wingman Attack that connects via gameport. However, on my brother's WinMe system, it doesn't calibrate as well as it should. It skips over some parts of the calibration box and doesn't reach to the bottom right corner. Which is odd because it's calibrated fine on a Win95...
