There's no mention of Paladin going to war... just that it was considered. Nothing is mentioned of his being in a cockpit.
[Edit]: Whoo hoo, promotion!
I charge anyone to find anyone in a movie or on TV (man or woman) who does not wear makeup while on camera. You'll find that there are way fewer (or in some people's minds, way more) who do vs. who don't.
The only probs one might have in Windows is lack of sufficient conventional memory, or a bad sound card setting, or lack of proper video drivers to run the game. Good thing he does have win98, because DOS is impossible on XP.
Personally, I thought that the bombers in WCP moved more realistically than in WC3 or 4. Where the bombers in 3 and 4 just turned slowly, you actually get the feeling that since the Dev and Shrike are heavy bomber ships, that it takes more action/reaction to turn the ships, and then keep inertia...
It can be done in theory - create a boot disk that runs DOS, and then you can run the game with a diskette-based DOS system.
It cannot be done otherwise. WinXP does not have true DOS, like Win 98 and those before it, which is what Privateer will only run in. Privateer will never run in...
I remember waking up early during the summer to play WC for the SNES. When I actually GOT it, I played it even more. Since then, I played WC2 a little bit.
I first owned Prophecy, then SO, then 2, 3 and 4. Still don't have 1... but I can't run it at a slow enough speed. I'd need the KS version.
But don't your private talks with them carry as much weight? like when Panther and/or Hawk bitch about Maniac, or when Panther talks to Blair about her life story?
When/if Blair decides to nuke Ella, does he say something along the lines of "This is war"? Because if he did, he's contradicting himself in terms of his scene with Tolwyn...
man, I need to play that game again.
