On that note, what is the canon armament for the frigate? Looking at the model, there are four mounts for laser turrets and two missile launchers? Any ideas what it was supposed to fire?

Fantastic! I always actually really liked the design: it looks believable and utilitarian, and the various little details like retro-thruster ports and the offset cockpit make it unique-looking.

Was I the only one who was disappointed when they realized the Nephilim ships have cockpit canopies? Playing Prophecy back in the day, I always imagined their ships as entire organisms, and the talking heads in the VDUs weren't really pilots, but more like the ship's sensory/communication organs...

Just for my own curiosity, is there a way to implement something that would let you toggle between textures/polygons/wireframe? I don't know if I'm alone on this but I think that would be pretty neat.

This is really awesome! Also cool to see all the interior hangar models, especially in the dreadnought and starbase from Wc3; I always liked to fly around inside them.
