Question 21: Describe the first Battle of McAuliffe.
Shortened Answer: The 2634 Confederation Day "jak-tu" sneak attack on Confed's most fortified base outside of Sol with new Phase-Transit Torpedoes. Casualties included many tens of thousands of personnel, over eighty capital ships and both the orbital and ground based components of the McAuliffe base. Over thirty billion would die or find themselves behind enemy lines in the following weeks.

Question 22: Describe the Terran/Kilrathi Battle of Earth.
Shortened Answer: Penultimate battle of the T/K War. Five Confed Carriers, half a dozen Kilrathi SuperCarriers and dozens of other heavy Kilrathi warships. Literally thousands of fighters and civilian craft in one of the largest melees you could imagine. Extremely opportunistic circumstances and unexpected aid from the Landreich prevented the nerve center of the Confederation from being destroyed in the way a dozen other systems had been devastated in the prior two weeks.

Bonus 11: Describe the seventh Battle of Munro.
Shortened Answer: Seventh Confed attempt to retake Munro in 2668. Went like "clock-work." Notorious because the attack continued despite orders to stand down by Confed HQ because of the signing of the Peace Armistice which later turned out to be a ruse. Admiral Tolwyn was subsequently court martialed. It was later revealed that the whole plan to continue with the assault despite the armistice was a supersecret attempt to put Tolwyn in a position to covertly seek out and unveil the Hakaga fleet that later ravaged the Confederation up until the Battle of Earth.
