Tara Tomiko is from Osaka, Japan. Her goal is to reach the rank of Admiral, though her parents expected her to continue in the "family business" of politics. Her parents disowned her when she decided to become a pilot, but she is convinced that her parents will change their minds when she returns him in an Admiral's uniform. She earned her callsign from her "gracefulness on the deck and in the cockpit."
