You've Got To Admit, It's Getting Better
The quest for full res Wing Commander Academy is finally coming to a head! Thanks to a new Analog-to-DV bridge, I now have three Academy episodes (4-6) in high resolution format! I have raw 4.2 gigabyte versions stored for future use... and am producing ~200 megabyte DivX;-) releases which will someday soon find their way to the internet! For now, here's a comparison shot from "Chain of Command" (left old, right new):
