Anything WC ( I think that goes without saying on this board)
Driver
Monkey Island
NCAA Football 2003 (GC was by far the best one of the platforms for this game)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Ken Griffey Baseball (SNES)
Madden Football (pick a year)
Super Tecmo Bowl

. . . and tons of others I'm forgetting

My list runs so:
Wing Commander IV
Worms 2, World Party, Armageddon, etc.
WC 1-SO
Privateer 1 & 2
Rogue Spear (with Nishi Model Mod)
Diablo 2
Seven Seas
South Park (N64)
Duke Nukem 3D
C&C Red Alert 2
Star Trek Armada
Jane's ATF
Need For Speed 3

And the list goes on and on, particularly for PC games.

All time faves? Ooooohhhhhh...here's a selection.

Wing Commander series. What else?
Resident Evil series. Because commandos kicking zombie ass rules.
wrestling games, especially ones you can create WC characters in
The Sims. What's cooler than putting in your fave real life or fictional characters and interacting with them at the level this game offers.
Sim City series. The challenge of building your own empire is at least as satisfying as taking on Thrakhath.
Command & Conquer series. Even if the latest one is pure political self indulgence.
Ridge Racer series. Popping in an Initial D CD when you're playing is the best part.
Ultimate Air Combat. One of the best games on the NES. I just had to get this game.
Final Fantasy VII\VIII. Some of the best graphics and gameplay in a game.
Rainbow Six series. Just grab an Afghanistan mod and join the war on terror.

Ooh.. I was just thinking about this a little while ago.. Not that it helps me come up with a decent list of course. Anyhow.. All for the PC, unless otherwise noted. I've also left off individual episodes of a series. It just gets too complicated to compare WC2 to WC3, Police Quest 1 to 2, Space Quest 1 to 3, Sim City 2000 to 3000 and so on. There's a few exceptions as noted.

Wing Commander (PC/SNES)
Space Quest
Super Mario World (SNES/GBA)
Advance Wars (GBA)
Police Quest
Halo (XBox)
Command & Conquer
Sim City (PC/SNES)
Mario Party 4 (GameCube)
Diablo
Stars! >2.0
Bomb (precursor to Scorched Earth, which was a precusor to Worms)
MissionForce Cyberstorm 1
Star Trek Armada/A Final Unity/Judgement Rites
Quake 1

I played a lot of other great games too.. Zelda Link to the Past is one of the best games on the face of the Earth, but the above list is a list of games that shaped my life. Ghost Recon, Serious Sam and MechWarrior 4 were great too. However for one reason or another, each of the above games had a profound impact. I could tell you a long story about each title. Like everyone else, there's probably a few games I'm missing too.

Ehh.. they were okay police-type games.. Absolutely no reason to put the incredible Police Quest name on them though.

SWAT 3 is much better, I agree. But it may interest you to know there is a WCcameo of sorts in the game. I dunno whether you'd agree with me, but...seperated at birth? Linda Kinoshita and SWC Spirit.

You can´t like Star Trek: Generations game :(
Was so ugly and with that Red Glob chasing Crusher :(

I do happen to like the game, it's dated now, but it's good. I also forgot to put Star Trek: Judgment Rites on the PC List :D

Good call on Star Trek Invasion. For a PSX game and a Colony Wars knock-off, its got really pretty effects.

Jedi Power Battles is also a... shameful guilty pleasure of mine.

Star Trek: Generations for the Game Boy was freaking retarded though. :)

While we're on games we don't like, I'll pass up a few.

Return to Zork: Answer a maths question correctly and you die. How stupid is that?
Toshiden 4: Indeed, a lot of tosh.
Fifa 96: Compared to International Superstar Soccer, this was shoody and unplayable.
A Boy and his Blob (NES): Just plain stupid.
Predetor (NES): Another shoody game based on movie.

I have a lot more games that I like and dislike. I'll just have to think of them.

Yo guys and Gals, working late yet again (why don't my time plans ever work?)

hmm. favorite games eh?

I would have to say that on PC, it would probably run something like this

1. WC IV
2. WC 1
3. AvP 2
4. Janes World War 2 Fighters
5. Crazy Taxi (because its a no-brainer)
6. Splinter Cell

I don't have FreeLancer yet, because I haven't got time to play it :(

For the Arcade emulator I got

1. Aliens Versus Predator (a Beat'em up)
2. Galaga (Its a classic)
3. Galaga 88

and I almost forgot PaperBoy for the Amiga :)

Red Alert
Red Alert 2
Tie Fighter
Xwing Alliance

Mario RPG (SNES, guilty pleasure, lots of fun actually)
Mariocart 64
Megaman X (SNES)
Donkey Kong Country I and II (SNES)
Duke Nukem (the original all 3 parts, plus #2 was pretty cool too)

Im forgetting a huge number of games here im sure

Indeed.. it was one of the stupidest games ever made.. But I also loved it at the time. For those of you who missed out on the joy of playing, here's a review at Something Awful. It received a -48.0 score. That's a negative forty-eight mind you..

Here's a short quote:
"Defining Moment: After my hundredth time of running back and forth across the level trying to find something to interact with, I began to feel a burning feeling in my stomach, which rose into my chest, and then I lost consciousness. I awoke the next day in a hospital bed. Later that day, the doctors informed me of just what had happened. As I was playing A Boy and His Blob, my stomach began to produce an excess amount of acidic bile. Then, through a remarkable feat of many muscles working together, my body forced the bile up, through my esophagus, past my throat, and into my sinus cavities. I overheard a doctor say to a nurse “It was as though he tried to dissolve his own brain.” That man will never know how right he was."

Hahaha...that's great. Really liked the links there. How about this for a Mohammad line?

"Wing Commander is the worst game ever made. It is terrible."

Now THAT'S a lie. :)
