Sorry if I missed this, but I remember reading about a PBEM game in the making. Was this ever completed as I'm really eager to start playing one. I used to play a Star Trek one and really look forward to getting back into PBEMs.

There have been some on and off.. The Wing Commander Aces club does something like that in terms of longer stories. You might just want to start something yourself.
