Hey, I don't know if any of you know, but someone made a upgraded version of kilrathi saga as a dvd iso. (http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2624945/0010653532170/)
I tried running it in windows xp, however all I got was a blank screen. Someone else posted on that site that the had the same problem, however they got no reply. I ran it in windows 95 compatibility like the site says. If anyone knows how to gt it to work, help would be appreciated.
 
Not to mention that since Kilrathi Saga never came on DVD, you have no assurance that the files were virus free. You hope the person who uploaded it put the CDs and made a DVD out of it, and didn't alter the files in any way.

A lot of files like these are often infected and by running them, they install silent downloaders and installers that'll download the latest versions of malware/keyloggers/etc. Given that it "doesn't work" - it could be that's the extent of the infection - by the time you expect it to run, it's way too late as your PC is now infected. If you look, there's no one reporting it working - either it install fine and doesn't run, or it hangs during install.

Better yet, most of these files are very specific so there's no signature that a virus scanner can look for.

Edit: And apparently you need a NoCD patch. That's another red flag - a lot of cracks/keygens/etc. are wrapped with downloaders that also can infect your machine.
 
Conspiracy theories aside, the games are available at GOG at an affordable price, so there's really no excuse for piracy in any case.
