DVDExpress worked with Zork: Grand Inquisitor DVD and Tex Murphy: Overseer DVD.

So my question: Will it work with WC IV? (Then I'll stop bidding for dxr3 Card)
 
I never heared of DVDExpress. Does it have an MCI interface/drivers? If it does there is a SLIM chance it might work. If it only supports direct show then no, it will definitely NOT work.

Although I got my Doublesided DVD together with a dxr2/3 card (forgot which one it is) for 20€ - while a seperate DVD went for over 40€ at the same time. ^^
Anyway, this way I could play it with one of my main rigs instead of my "DOS-Machine" :)
 
DVDExpress is an old Software DVD Player by Mediamatics but they don't sell it anymore. I was so happy as it solved all video problems for Zork and Overseer. Could someone try it when I offer it for download? Cause my WCIV DVD won't arrive til next week. The Dxr3 auction ends tomorrow :D
 
oh this would be nice:

On the Activision Website I've read that you need an Dxr2 Decodercard OR DVDExpress for Zork... I bet this will work for WC IV, too
