Wing Commander group on MySpace!!

If you have a site on www.myspace.com, there's a Wing Commander group you can join! It's pretty dead right now, but people post every now and then with questions, which are usually answered by telling them to visit www.wcnews.com. The group's address is http://groups.myspace.com/WCOrigins. I think you can only join if you have a myspace profile though. I'm hoping to get a glipse of what some of our posters are like in 'real life'.

Would this be a bad time to point out I've never understood that "Web 2.0" thing? The only thing that really seems different, to my Inner Cynic™, is the speed at which updated stupidity is posted to the internet.

I like the label, because I remember the internet before they let everyone play, and I liked it a lot.

While wcnews seems as involved as you can get in a Wing Commander community, I'll still check it out, being the closet myspacer that I am.
