At last, it finally sets foot on this board!! The one and only Wing Commander comic written and cartooned by mpanty!!

Many thanks to Sadic that has made this possible, without mpanty having to fork out a shitload of money to get it done by a copy place... :D

Tell me what you think, and BTW, here's the translation in English:


Title: BOMBING RUN ON KILRAH

Vignette 2: After take-off, arrival at NavPoint 1

Vignette 3: The fight is very intense

Vignette 4: Once the fight over, while Vagabond returns to the Victory, you near on Kilrah in cloaked mode.
Dialogue:
(Vagabond) Good luck, Colonel Blair!
(Blair) Thanks! Ain't gonna be a piece of cake!

Vignette 5: At last the final battle against Prince Thrakhath
(okay, don't kill me! I've misspelled "Thrakhath" in the French version...)

Vignette 6: Thrakhath: Time to die, ape!

Vignette 7: But you hold firm and send the Prince join his ancestors!

Vignette 8: Last objective: locate the seismic fault...

Vignette 9: and drop the Temblor-Bomb!!

Vignette 10: Mission Accomplished!!

Erm, wow...I was expecting a three-panel zinger, not a thirty page epic...nice job, mpant :)
 
I especially enjoyed that last panel. How satisfing it is to see an Excal escaping from Kilrah! :)
 
Yeah, I like that one too... :)

It looks too opaque to me though... I tried to give it a "glare" effect, but it isn't the result that I expected...

Ah well... :)
 
Stop whining, mpanty ;) That last panel looks freaking perfect, just like the explosion of Thrakhath's fighter... And the rest is great, too :)

Just kidding. :) I prefer to just draw in pencil. Adding colour tends to ruin it [for me], not to mention it takes longer.

Well elementary, my dear Watson! :) That's where it came from...
Actually no, the Blaine Pardoe WC3 Strategy book has a bigger version of it... so I used *that* as a model. :p

And as I was saying to Eder, the book cover has the nice "glare" effect I was aiming at... ;-)
