Lot's of people have done comic strips (it's hard to find any of the ones people have thrown together over the years) but no one has ever made a comic book really...

I know Travis Charest is currntly not doing much. If everybody is willing to wait for a shit long time (he draws really slow) I'm sure he'll do it. And for those of you who want to know what his style is like check out the first few issues of Wildcats volume 2.

Hold it! Any artist doing a WC comic would HAVE to be a WC fan. And more. The WC universe has grown to be quite complex over the years; the possibilities for storyline screwups are endless.

The artist just draws the book. He doesn't have to write it as well. So long as there is a detailed break down of all the panels there won't be any screw ups. And even if there are a few minor ones, if we can get some one like Travis Charest to do it nobody'll care.

McFarlane takes half an hour a page? Unlikely. More like a day a page. But it doesn't matter anymore since he doesn't pencil or even ink any more.
