Wing Commander Books

I got a couple questions, how many are there? What is your favorite one? I just finished Fleet Action and it is sorta depressing. I liked End Run better and I will probably read Freedom Flight before the end of Monday.

My favorite is Fleet Action.

END RUN is definately my favorite. No matter how many times I read that book I still enjoy giving it another read.

FLEET ACTION was certainly depressing... may seem weird, but when Tolwyn was court martialed I really got depressed. That book was very cool because they do stop the cats, but it was totally depressing.

End Run and Fleet Action are my favorites, followed closely by False Colors. Those have the best Tolwyn

My favorite's End Run... but I've never read Action Stations, False Colors, TPOF, or Pilgrim Stars.

The movie novel (which I got ay the CIC's birthday party, yay!) is also great, and people who didn't like the movie should definitely read it.

I liked the size and content of False Colors and the WCM novelization gives some good insight into the overall story of the movie. But my all time favorite has to be Fleet Action.
I love how it comes down to one huge desperate battle, very gripping!

My favorite novel is False Colors its like the start of the Renegade Kilrathi that will appear in WCP.Plus I love Bear and Lone-Wolf plus the FRLN standing up to the the big Confees.

yes... i must agree Fleet Action is very sad.... I must have read the part when Hunter dies like 40 times.... i was in shock (i read this book second..... The books are what got me into WC).... but i couldnt believe they killed off Hunter.... I really like WC X: Resurgence (sp?).... mostly because Hunters back !

Never enough.. not until everyone is a Wing Commander fan. I'm doing my part. I'm wanting to get him started on Action Stations.. Can't remember if there were spoilers for WC3/4 in there though.

Yeah, there are some WC4 ending spoilers along with the bit about who won the war, obviously.
