Wing Commander 3 for Playstation??

To be more specific, yes there is, and it has a few extras:

*News Reports from Barbara Miles in the bar (In the PC, you can see her in the background, over the bar and right over the heads of the developers)
*Hobbes "Good-Bye" Holo-Message after "defecting"
*Cinema sequences instead of ground missions, as the PS1 could not handle those specific missions.
 
yep that about covers it though this is the second thread about the same thing that is up and being posted on today. if this was in another forum where people ask the same thing about a week apart and it gets annoying, I would be about ready to do some serious newbie bashing but alas since this forum does not have a search option, anyone know why? I cannot blame you so in answer yes it exists and yes it has all those extras
 
I have WC III on PlayStation (and PC), and I must say, the PlayStation version tends to get a bit harder for me than the PC version, though the video quality is much better :)
 
WCIV for PSX was terrible. The in-flight engine (despite being the same as WCIII) was VERY poor and the controls were badly managed. Also, they swapped out one of the missions on the Lex for a "New mission made just for the Playstation!"

...It sucked.

However, the PSX version is what I use to reference the movies from. If you enter Up, Down, Up, Down + R2 at the WCIV logo screen a few times really quick, you can access all the movies.
 
And, from what I heard, a bulk of the FMV is totally cut out of the PSX WCIV (plus, you can't make the decision to go to either Circe or Speradon... it makes it for you :().
