Why is it that the WC animations don't have resume download option? What if there was a server error or something the we have to start form scratch.

Bahhhhhh....

Get the Opera browser (sponsored version--small ad window) for FREE,; it has an integrated DL manager, and no nasty spyware component.

www.opera.com

Not to mention the fact that it kicks IE's/Navigator's BUTTS!... (only thing that comes close is Mozilla...). Also, it has "hot-switchable" cookies on/off, pop-ups on/off options, and a ton more great stuff (through quick dropdown menu checkboxes & such).

Here's a partial list:
-MDI interface (no more separate program windows for each site you load)
-Skinnable (over 200 skins altogether)
-Loads sites faster'n IE/Nav ever even fantasized about doing
-Compact (basic DL about 3.x MB; with Java, ~11 MB)
-Compliant with all W3 consortium standards
-Integrated "M2" e-mail client).
-And on and on...

Because of the excessive load it places on the already overburdened system supplying the series. Unfortunately if you allow resume, you allow a bunch of other situations that can overtax a server.

Resume is for chikens. Real machos download using a 19600 bps dial up connection, and go commando, no resume, no manager.
