Why is Casey's voice different in Secret Ops?

Why is Casey's voice diferrent in Secert Ops?

FOr some reason Caseys voice changes form a normal voice to a drunk. "Wanna Piece of me huh, wanna piece of me"
The best taunt was
"So you Border World Dogs Want A Peice Of The Man"

I haven't played Secret Ops, so my only assumption would have to be his going through puberty.:p

Yeah, but that would be smarter... cheaper... and more logical. Why would anyone want them to do that? :p
 
Hmm.. I must be getting old..

Now that I think of it.. Loaf *may* be right.. ;)

I think we recorded new voicework for Casey because if we had re-used his existing lines we would've had to pay him again.. because his agent was good at writing contracts.. AND he wasn't cheap.. at least not compared to the others in SO..

Yeah.. that's the ticket..

BTW... was it really Zima commercial*S*? I only remember one.

If Captain Johnny says it was a contract issue, it was a contract issue. He should know. :)
 
Maybe he forgot that it *wasn't* a contract issue? :p
I remember reading about this in a readme or the like somewhere and I recall the word "unavailable" as the reason for the lack of the real Casey.
I'll bet my doughnuts on Johnny any day though.

yeah, he worked on Prophecy and SO I think
and I think he was responsible for the Wing Commander universe map too.
