All of them suck, bunch o´ sitting ducks. I could take a full wing of them out with my Epee.

If you juse the ship switcher for wcp/so you will find the dralthi MK IV far superior to terran medium fighters....

You can't decide between the bad ass upgraded-so-stupid-human-players-can-use-it-in-SM2 version and the armor-less, weapon-less version from Armada?

Hmm, I always considered the Dralthi III the Privateer version. That thing was a tough opponent. I thought the Dralthi from Armada(the Armada version is slightly shorter than the others but I personally think can be considered the same airframe), WC3, WC4 and Prophecy were all the same model Mk. IV (same airframe, different armaments, upgrades, etc -and yes I know the rebuttal to this is the Mk. II).

I take a look at the encyclopedia and the Privateer version is designated the Mk VI and VII, but if thats the case, (although the same was done with the Mk I and II) the Dralthi from WC3/4 and Prophecy should be different variants (same airframe, different armament, engine upgrades, better manueverability, etc). Plus, the Privateer version is still in the 'symmetrical' style as the WC1/2 variant fighters (actually it looks alot like the marraige between a Dralthi and a Drakhi - even though it was built for SWC :)) How was this designation decided upon? Is it in some Privateer/Armada/WC3/Prophecy/WC4 reference I haven't seen or don't remember?

Thanks and C-ya

The thing that makes the drathli most deadly (like most of kat ships) is when they work in pairs or larger groups, Mk IIs were pretty good at this and Mk IVs also had their moments.

They were just sometimes to much fun to kill, I mean you are shooting at a pancake.

in SWC, when behind one you could beat up a pancake without to much trouble. but hey, every kilrathi you encounter at a waypoint work in pairs. your always outnumberd if it isn't w against 2....

Cover of Academy - a Privateer-airframe Dralthi identified as the "Dralthi Mark VII".

oh, ok. well, i thought the mk II refered to to the wc two era dralthi, same thing goes wit h the mark III and wc three. since i am not confused anymore, the mark IV owns all.

There's no WC2 Dralthi.

I was always wondering why there was no Dralthi in WC2. It seemed to be a Kilrathi trademark.

Well, think about it from the stand point of someone playing WC2 when it came out - at that time, only one WC game had Dralthis, so nobody saw it as a trademark.

The movie Dralthi was the worst, THOSE THINGS LOOK LIKE THEY BARELY CAN EVEN FLY IN SPACE!!! But if I have to choose from the game... the first one, Im sorry but the weaker sheilds and limited manueverability all on the same ship are a major turn off, wouldnt catch me flying it by choice!
