What happened to the TCS-Confederation?

no idea. IIRC, the ONLY reason we know there is a TCS Confederation is because the Concordia is a Confederation class, and the Confed tradition of naming the class after the first ship in that class

The Tiger's Claw was the first of the revamped model -- the TCS Bengal was the first ship, it entered service in 2619.

And wasn't the first Bengal's designed as a Torpedo Battlecruiser?

And, according to Claw Marks, all subsequent Bengal-class ships are 10 meters shorter than her, due to some reworking of the design again... :D

Was that all? I knew that already. Thanks anyway. :)

Topic drift always happens. Get used to it. Sometimes it can even be quite constructive. Unfortunately, it can also dissolve into nonsense.

You wanna know where I got it from?

The Freespace WC project board Tolwyn runs has a member called Bob McDob, who called it a torpedo battlewagon/battlecruiser.

I thought this was part of the Confederation Handbook.
