WCU installment q.

I installed the remake, and saved a game before installing the WCU.
I installed the WCU add on, but see no diffrence (no new ships, not for sale, or in space).
do I need to restart my game or should the upgrade work anyway (and I'm just doing something wrong)?
 
You need to start a new game... this has to do with how the autogen works. If you continue your old game, you will eventually see new ships etc. but it will take a while for them to be produced and happen to show up in the system you are in.
