WCMC casting

I mother's family was from Germany, so that's part of the reason for my nickname. As for playing a part, I dunno. If that involves speaking english, that's a no-no, 'cause my spoken english is horrible.

How long did it take you to think up such a pathetic nickname anyway? Just picture this: a couple of marines on a boarding mission, a cat jumps out of a door. "Watch out, non-flying dutchman!"
By the time the guy would have finished speaking our Dutchman would be dead. You could just have given him the nickname Dutch or something

No regret, you're right the nickname is too long I noticed that while writing it. I probably should make it shorter, it's just that at the time that nickname was the only thing that came to mind (and it sort of reflects his personality, since he was afraid to fly he became a marine instead of pilot). I'll post a list of changes later, I would however like to thank all people who gave feedback on the names and ranks (

I agree the name was to long, but to take offence is silly. Most call-signs make fun or poke fun at the pilot at some way, or is a description of the pilots character. I thought it waswas funny, maybe try an abreviation like NFD i.e. JAFO...get it?

I like jokes. WCMC needs a Frenchman and a Russian too. The Russian can be nicknamed "Will work for food" and the Frenchman "I surrender".

I liked the way PC Gamer described the French. They are the equivilent of "training wheels" in Red Alert 2 if you are the Russkies.
