I got this VDMSound thing recently and I'm having some problems getting it to work right. It's been so long since I've had to use anything like this I've forgotten how. I got the patch and the visual interface files. When I run it with just the regular VDMS options it won't detect my joystick and the music doesn't play, when I try with the custom options it gets the music but I still can't get it to recognize my joystick, and then sometimes the window just goes inactive.
Can anybody give me some really dumb-downed instructions on how to get it to work right?
