WC1: Venice 1

Quick question. I've been going through WC1 trying to score all the medals (while sticking completely to the winning path). I've read in a few sources that you're supposed to win a Silver Star in the first Venice mission. I've played it a few times now, killing all the targets myself (11 out of 11) but have not been able to win it. Are the soucres I read (WC Revival, Wedge009's script) incorrect or am I missing something? I am running the original version in DOSBox (not Kilrathi Saga) if that makes a difference. Thank you.

I *think* the only way to get the Silver Star in Venice 1 is to let Khajja the Fang survive whenever you encounter him previously -- shooting him down gives you enough points to win the medal.

I do encounter Khajja in Venice 1 and kill him. I did not encounter him before because I have not gone through the Rostov missions (I saved the Ralari in Kurasawa 2). Since there really is nothing else to do in Venice 1 (hit all the Nav points, kill Khajja, the Ralari, and all 11 targets), could the Silver Star be somehow dependant on Rostov somehow?

Okay, another medal question: Firekka 2 (with the 3 Fralthi at Nav 2). Wedge009's site says that this is a potential Gold medal mission. I managed to take out all three Fralthi (which actually wasn't as bad as I thought) and all the fighters (3 Dralthi, 4 Krant, 5 Jalthi, 5 Dralthi) and managed to get 19 out of 21. But still no medal. I tried again and kept the Fralthi intact and just took out the fighter escort(in case I lost the medal because Halcyon was pissed I disobeyed orders). No medal. Any thoughts?

That's a good question. BTW, Venice-1 requires both Khajja and your wingman Hunter to be killed during mission. Firekka-2 - well, I don't know. There is actually only 20 targets in a mission. If you'll hit all 20 or just 17 - no gold.

Did you ever figure out the problem/solution here? 3x I made all 11 kills and no medal.

Also, I did Brimstone and Rostov. I've killed Kahjja already. I can't find anything solid anywhere that says that matters, or doesn't matter for that matter...

No. It's been a while since I've tried. Someone posted above that Hunter has to die during the mission. Or is it that you get extra points for the mission if your wingman is already dead?

Success with Khajja present (and killed) and when the Kilrathi kill Hunter. And bag all 11 kills.
