well, the Bengal is all up and running now. it is armed with a cruise missile launcher, torpedo launcers and laser turrets, and of course, RAPIERS! :D

unfortunately, the snakeir, hornet and kilrathi laser turret aren't working, and i've tried everything to figure out why :(

so here is what's working so far:

So when do we all get to download a demo of this baby????? I wanna get into an MP game and hit a noah battleship with a couple of snakiers....
 
you propably shouldn't. the snakeir has ashield strength(let's say it will have) of 1000, a noa BS has something like 20000...
but then, their flak cannons do 1.5 points of damage, and WC fighters have a strength of 200-350 hp :D

Looks sweet, Chevie! That bengal model looks very good in the Nexus engine. Looking forward to seeing more progress. Are you anticipating making a full out story campaign to this mod or just importing WC ships into the game?
 
no there's definately going to be a story. i wrote it after playing wc1, nad it will be the main point of this mod, especially since WC and NX ships don't match too good

This mod suddently looks a lot more promising. But I think you have overdone the neutron cannon effect a bit.
 
Yeah, weapon effects right now are probably pretty far down on the priority list. Looks like you're making good progress, Chevieblazer, keep us apprised.

ok, here's another one the won't have to be introduced. it's not yet ingame and will be subject to some serious testing of the boundaries of the engine
