(wc) Sm 1-2 and (wc2) SO 1-2

Yup - they were originally sold as a *harder* experience for people who'd completed the original game.
 
The last mission of SO1 was really annoying. The fact that you have 3 wingmen also makes it harder in my opinion because they do not hesitate to shoot through you to get at the enemy. Then finally when I destroyed all the gothri, those fralthra finish off my crippled ship. It took me something like a week to do this mission. But it was much more satisfying to finish this than it was for the last mission of WC2.
 
The first mission in SM1 is a true nightmare. lucky for us it is unlosable. I mean, you will go on with the story no matter what you do. Nevertheless, we always want to beat every mission, don't we?

To be fair, I can't rightly blame them...I certainly don't hesitate to shoot through them to hit any enemy. :)
 
And you're a traitor. I know. I hated it. I remember flying one mission where me and Stingray were supposed to take out a Fraltha (I think...it's been a while) and I was getting chewed alive by the escorts anyway finally whittle them done to just one plus the Fraltha I take on the last one and get a missile lock with my last missile. Just as I unleash it Stingray rolls in and takes it in the tail pod...KABOOM! I blew up the Fraltha but couldn't return to base and had to replay the entire mission...talk about heart breaking.
 
lol, the exact same thing happened to me on the third mission of WCP. I locked onto a moray with a javelin and just as I fired, Stilleto flew right in front of it and said, "I can't believe you would turn on me like this," and all my wingmen started trying to blow me to bits. I always knew Stilleto had something against me, so she decided to frame me like that to get me out of the way. :p
 
Always was a shame that you couldn't explain when it was a mistake :( Though I suppose it prevented you being a tard and shooting up everything in a mission including friendlies.... (Hey I thought the Carrier Destroyed scene was cool)

I liked that feature in Privateer, you could sweet talk most of the militia or pirates

That Minx was one weird lady. The way she stood there and acted made her seem more like a hooker than a pilot. I was hoping Angel would find out she was hitting on Blair and slap her.

It sure works, although you have to be REALLY persistent.

And Stiletto is crazy enough to throw herself in front of a missile to frame you :)
 
I once nailed Spoons in Standoff when he got between my heatseaker and a really annoying Talon. Then the Lionheart blew my ass off....

If you have seriously already pissed them off it can take a while but eventually you can get them to be neutral....but the next group you encounter will need just as much sweet talking as the first
 
I'm not 100% sure, although I believe that that is correct. On random encounters you can even talk the kilrathi down to neutral but I don't think they will ever go fully friendly
