WC:CD "Darket"

Alright the Darket is going to be the new ship I'm going to work on. If you ask which version I will be using It will be the Darket "Dragonfly" that is featured in the WC Arena game. If I make that model 1/2 way decent I might also do the Darket "Raptor" . I'll also have to check the poly count as I'm finished to see if there's enough to even make the "Raptor".

Alright well I worked on it.....tell me what ya think.. In WC Arena the Darket "Dragonfly" is actually fairly decent armed
2 Laser
2 Tachyon
40 for missile salvos
& 5 Heat seekers...Not bad for a "Light Fighter" but here are some screenshots

Oh BTW got the engine idea from Howie Day's models so that it has the engine is inside the tube idea

Well I started the actually model at 12:14 and it took about 4 hours to get that product that you see... what really takes the longest is the Model part, making all the shapes, Of coarse the model I did is a little bit different, but when if comes to the textures I used this image https://cdn.wcnews.com/newestshots/full/render_darket_dragonfly.jpg as a basis...rotate, copy,past,cut,color,put in other elements (engines,cockpits, etc...)
it's not exactly the same but it's as close as I want to get it .......BTW does anyone know or have seen where the Guns are located on this model in Arena? I can't find any screenshots anywhere

I think this one is one of the better Models I've made.....the Paktahn is a little off in places.....same with the Dralthi models I've made...I really do like the Darket it looks like something the Kilrathi should be flyin, just one sick lookin F***in fighter!!!

From the start of the thread it was 12:14 in the afternoon I then started to make the shapes or at least get as close as I thought of the shapes, then certain fighters I can benefit from if there are already some textures made. Now the only texture that I had for this was the render from the WC Arena which is found here https://cdn.wcnews.com/newestshots/full/render_darket_dragonfly.jpg which I basically rotated,cropped,cut past,copy paste, all into a 512x512 texture file (jpg)
