Walking Wounded

I just finished watching through Academy, thanks to the downloads on CIC. It was really fun! I saw a couple episodes when it was on USA - that was when I found out your character's handle in the games was "Maverick" - and for the people that like the show, I'd also recommend checking out the Starcom and BattleTech cartoons. I went through the episodes going by the CIC's timeline order, but there's one that I would place differently: Walking Wounded.

The site's timeline puts it as part of a set preceding "Invisible Enemy" and "Recreation." I searched the forums, and the reasoning seems to be that the Tiger's Claw rescued a convoy in "Wounded," escorted it in "Invisible," and dropped it off in "Recreation." There is indeed a convoy of four transports under the Claw's protection in "Invisible," the two remaining of which are passed over to some frigates in "Recreation." These don't seem to be related to the ships in "Wounded," though. The Claw only finds two ships left in that episode:
* The hospital ship, totally different in design from the transports. The Kilrathi avoided totally destroying it so it could be used as bait for...
* The fighter transport Morgan, which the Kilrathi had seized. Blair and co. shoot the shit out of it.

So where should the episode be placed? Well, "Walking Wounded" resolves Archer's running storyline since episode 3 where she hesitates in battle. It doesn't make much narrative sense for her to get over her issues in "Wounded," then choke worse than ever in "Recreation" and "On Both Your Houses," then have zero problems with killing Kilrathi in the two episodes that close the series. I think it makes the most sense for "Walking Wounded" to be episode 11 in timeline order.
