Hi, just found the time to install UE
and I have a problem with the cutscenes
they are RUNNING as in fast forward mode

besides one other thing
the dificult level is fare more than insane
even at easiest level
can that be set anny lower?
this challeng is getting frustrating :-/

Re movies: did you try the solution as in the FAQ?
Re diffculty: sorry, that is really the easiest. Ist really just practice. UE is very playable in anything besides Nightmare.

I've got the same problem, and I have already set the audio accel. to zero. It improved it somewhat, but still skips all over the place.
Otherwise, loving the game

As to difficulty, I promise that you can get better. I was getting my backside booted for quite a while but am now doing much better. Went from 10-12 attempts to complete a mission to about 3.
