Via Onboard Sound does not work With WC

My Grandson is trying to play my old Wingcommander games and the new computer we built has onboard sound and the games do not recognize the sound.

Any help given would be apreciated.

u need to find the DOS drivers for the sound. usually available on the motherboard's manufacture's website.

Thanks a lot, I hope I can find them on the Chaintech site. I will have to check the manual to make sure of exactly which sound he has.
