Timeline Update?

Hmmm don't want to bother you mosieur LOAF but i am still waiting for an update on that timeline section.
No i don't request one i am just waiting since 1999 but hey thats really no problem.
But would be cool don't knoe why you stopped but you will tell me right???

Not that I'm LOAF's spokesman (:)), but I believe he was looking for some help, or might even be still looking. LOAF?
 
I had made the suggestion in another thread about someone taking on the huge, no scratch that, HUGE task of correcting all the errors or conflicts in the timeline and printed material. Whoever does, I would bet it would take over a year or more to fix it all up!

Maybe the timeline could become a community project? IIRC some wc sites have basic timelines so it would be a question of garthering them up and then adding information and detail to it. Unfortuantly only people with the entire collection could do this because of the alterations such as the movie which causes problems.
An easier method would be to post a date and events then organise it on the borad till it makes sence then go to the next date and so on. At least then LOAF can eat once in a while and sleep occasionaly.
 
I eat plenty... I just don't sleep much <G>

My current plan is to, within the next few weeks, release a skeleton timeline to satisfy people for a while -- basically, the date for each game mission and novel chapter.
 
According to one well-known Science officer that is going to affect your work sooner or later, not to mention your health. :)

I dont recall demanding a correction in the timeline. I do recall saying someone should make it a project to correct the inconsitancies, thats all. Maybe it sounded like a demand, but it wasnt meant to sound like that. Anyway, many commented on what about those that would not agree with the corrections that would be published. I think something should be put together to sort of "soften" the gaps and spec errors that seem to overlap in both the timeline and prints on ship stats. But demanding?..na!!
