No, I didn't eject him from my hold... Maybe I ejected and then respawned, though; could that be my former self?

If so, I guess it's not a bug.

Maybe it came from someone else's hold. I'm picturing: pirate tractors in pilot. Pirate is blown up and his cargo spews out. Since all cargo looks the same (including pilots I believe) that could have caused it.. weird. At any rate, I've not seen anything like that.
