Story Concept:
Against All Odds
A Wing Commander Story
Synosis:
This story begins in an Asteroid Belt near Rostov IV. The year is 2682. As the war with the Nephilim continues, a brand new escort carrier, the TCS Guadacanal (CVL 52) is on patrol in the system. On board are a group of rookie pilots, straight from the academy. This cruise is to give them real world experience before the Guadacanall is transferred to the Kilrathi frontier next month. Also oboard are a group of veteran pilots who will train the young ones. Among them are Major “Catscratch”, Lt. Colonel “Talon”, and commanding the unit, Colonel Dirk “Stingray” Wright. The ships commanding officer is Captain Kathryn Edmond. The ship’s first engagement will be with pirates and will cummulate with the Guadacanal facing of against a pirate Tallahasse Class crusier. Then the Nephilim enter the system and things get hot from there.
