thats always been the archetype for most heroes of any movie, the only reason it is a problem is bc it is a girl.
Right, because Sarah Connor, Ellen Ripley, Buffy, the Charmed witches, Alias, Dark Angel, La Femme Nikita, Bionic Woman, Star Trek Voyager, The Fifth Element, Xena and all the other countless, decades old stuff with female heroines never happened.
EP7 was pretty much a remake, and Rey a Luke replacement, so I was fine with it. But casting yet again a scrawny girl is kind of lame.
