Star Citizen Has Raised Over $2.75 Million (November 4, 2012)

Star Citizen fundraising hit its first stretch goal at $2.5 million last week and added the Anvil Gladiator to the list of flyable ships. It's now half way to the next big goal at $3M: more missions, more systems and the Privateer-style persistent universe. It's also just $100,000 away from a million dollars on Kickstarter, which will make a corvette class ship playable. Let's hope the rate of fundraising continues! It'd be great to launch the game with this in mind:

* Star Citizen will match Privateer, with 70 star systems to explore on launch.

That has to get any Wingnut's attention.
