Yesterday I tried the Sim Mission "Convoy Strike" on difficulty level 3, flying a Morningstar. I managed to accumulate 2680 points, but then I got destroyed.
I always thought, with the exception of missions 1 and 2, your score won't get submitted if you don't survive the mission. Yet, obviously it got submitted. No "gold achievment" for mission success, however.
Is this intentional or has something gone wrong? Come to think of it, its the first time I failed a mission and didn't try again immediately until I had beaten it, so that can be the reason that I never saw those scores appear. But I honestly didn't expect the score to appear at all. (Like when you complete the mission and survive, the voice says "Score sent to Confed HQ").
