SB pci512 problems

I just bought a Sound Blaster (as suggested)PCI 512 card, and guess what... Prophecy still skips!!! Please help me with this 70 dollar problem! Do I need to deactivate my previous card? If so, how do I do that? Please help!!!!

it's not fare! I just waisted 70 bucks! Unless they'll let me take it back for store credit...
