Not really... Raylight made/started to make Star Giants, and then got in contact with EA to see if it could be a Wing Commander game. EA pointed them at Destination Games who had licensed rights to do various EA franchises on the GBA. Since that point EA's had almost nothing to do with the project... The people at Raylight were well into implementation before EA bothered to send them a copy of the game. They've been what could be catogorized as slow on a good day, or unresponsive on a bad day, when contacted by Raylight for various things.

I hate replying twice in a row, but I'm too lazy to edit, and this was posted after I started writing my last post. It's Destination Games, the publishers, not Raylight, who have licenced a portion of EA's franchises for production on the GBA.
 
They're replaced by text with still pictures of the characters for some things and in engine cutscenes for others.
