Problem with resolution

Hello everybody,

I finally managed to intal privgold on mein FC4-Linux. But know, when I try to start the game the first time to enter the setup, my screen tells me that the hsync/vsync is out of range. All I can do now is to kill and restart the X-Server. I there a way to start the game in a windowed mode? Or any other suggestions?

To start the game in windowed mode open up the file vegastrike config and change the line:
#set Color full_32
to:
#set Color win_32

no, must change XML

the #set lines do NOT affect the configuration
only changing the actual XML changes what the engine reads in.
