I accepted a mission to defend the base in Telar from a hostile capship, saved, flew out, got killed by the ship and a couple wings of fighters, quit the game, restarted and reloaded my save, flew out again and .... there's nothing out there. Only me, asteroids, the base and some jump points. Is this correctable or should I reload from an earlier save?

I think it's one of those "lets patrol around all the nav points and find the bad guys" mission.
When I did it, it said 1 active mission in my computer console.
Just travel from nav to nav to find the place

I am trying not to spoil anything here. It's not a normal mission, it's one that the new fixer mentioned on the Announcements page eventually leads to. The lady at the base just says "Get OUT there [...]" as if everything were working fine and it was time for me to leave, but there's nothing...JKeefe said:Normal missions are not recorded in your savegame.
In any case, I reloaded from a save just before the mission path forks, but that behavior doesn't seem normal to me.
