Privateer/no midi

Greetings!

Well I decided to play Privateer on my retro 486 box. I have a SB16pnp with some sort of wavetable daughterboard on it. No matter what I do, I cannot get midi music to work at address p300. I need it to be set to that due to a Roland MPU-IPC-T card for my mt-32 games that needs to be set to 330. To be sure that there were no conflicts, I removed all non-essential cvards including the Roland card. My sb16pnp card is set to a220 i5 d1 h5 p300 t6. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated!

After further testing, it seems that the game refuses to look at address 300 even though it is set to do so in the install.exe/sound.cfg, and it keeps sending data to 330...

Thank you for the suggestion. Later I may try every address, but all other games, including WC: Armada are working at address 300.
