I have never played this game but the cinematics look cool, anyone know what order they go in so they make sense? Thanks.
 
Thats easy: in the holovids section any vid from Dr. Loomis to Kronos is from the major plot (and as far as I can tell, its in the right line), any other from Tamessa Ames to Ser Vonx are the sidemissions.

Btw, you need to catch the first minutes of the games movies up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP9LVXvRrT0) or you will miss something...
